When I notice that my follower number has decreased, in my mind it’s simply someone who has deactivted their tumblr or been booted for violating the terms of service. So, you know, not an actual “unfollow”.
Because it’s kind of ridiculous to think that someone was so overwhelmingly offended by that picture of snow-covered newspaper stands that they were just like “That’s it THAT IS IT! I am unfollowing this bitch once and for all!”
